This sound system has excellent quality. Last year we bought this system and attached to our TV in the family room. It significantly improved voice quality on cable shows and significantly improved all audio quality on movies. We liked the system so much in the family room that we bought the same system for our great room.
YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH THESE! February 15, 2010

After 6 months of researching at bestbuy, these are definitely worth the wait. I sampled the klipsch 300 and definitive technology 5.1 and was really sold on the dt until I read a review on "the best home theater speakers", and someone suggested these. I was curious because I thought the dt's were the best and I had never heard of these, so I decided to take a chance on them. After listening to the radio and watching Pearl Harbor and Black Hawk Down I am sold on theses. Eventhough, I 've only had these a few days I am now completely satisified with the quality of the sound. So save yourself time and gas money and take a chance like I did. You can alway return them if you are not happy, however; I know you will love them.

I would like to start off by saying I bought these speakers during Amazon's Gold Box sale. I payed about 1/2 of what the original price was and couldn't be happier. I usually don't by anything on impulse but I had just start my research on speakers when this came up.
With that said I couldn't be happier with these speakers, the sound great on my Pioneer VSX-1019AH-K receiver and are aesthetically pleasing my family room. They come in a wood grain finish in silver and have all the standard mounting options a normal speaker have. The Sub is great and has more options then I usually use, along with the ability to take off the front coverer for a different look. On [...] the bigger brother was reviewed and given a 3 1/2 out of 5 star review for being a bit bulky.
Would I have bought these speakers if they were over $400, not sure, but I can say under $400 they are a great deal!!!

While I have never been a big fan of HTIB systems after some research and a Amazon Gold Box price deal at $300 I decided to give these a try. In the past I have been content with buying & piecing together my own surround sound systems but I needed something discreet for a smaller room. I have to say that the sound that this package produces is very impressive. The highs are nice and crisp and the 8" subwoofer is strong enough to fill the room with great home theater surround sound lows. I was even impressed when I switched over to just stereo sound to listen to music (I do not prefer to listen to music in surround sound) and the smaller speakers held their own in this fashion as well. Overall this is a very nice HTIB system. If you already have a good receiver then buy this unit and skip putting money into a receiver that is sub par like most of these systems usually include. Put your money were the speakers are!! This system holds up to very good company that I have owned in the past like Polk Audio, Infinity, Klipsh, Bose, & Velodyne... Hope this helps as there are a lot of options out there...

absolutely amazing ive only had this for a short time but the sound is absolutely astonishing the sound that comes from such a small package is something. i compared it to Anthony Gallo micro's, Klipsch and Definitive Tech and no were even close to the quality of sound for the size and price u will definitely not be disappointed
